Merton Hall Livery Stables has direct access to over eight miles of bridleway which can be used to exercise your horse. 'Right of way' over the bridleway is guaranteed as part of the network of Public Access Bridleways shown on the Ordnance Survey map.

Several of the Bridleways can be combined with an absolute minimum of normal highway usage to give an extended ride stretching from Merton Hall Livery Stables through Bretford on to Brinklow and return via Brinklow Heath.
